The Redcliffe Area Youth Service is currently open from 8:30am until 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
We frequently open of a weekend at least once a month to host events for the community.
During the months of May, June, July and August we ran a pilot program every Friday night, extending our opening hours to 10pm. Keep checking in, because we're hoping to gain funding to run the Friday night program again sometime this year, and hopefully well into 2008!

Interesting fact about me: I love 4WDriving, dirt bikes, heavy metal (the music), science fiction, and I REALLY dislike suits, ties, nice shiney shoes, and anything that resembles business wear!

 Role: Youth Worker and 2iC - that's a fancy way of saying second in charge.
Perks of the job: Working with a crazy (in a good way) staff team and supporting young people to build upon their strengths and achieve their goals. It's a fun place to work, and not many people can say that about their jobs.
Interesting fact about me: I have a mini named "Molly"!

Perks of the job: Working with the energy the young people bring to the Youth Space, and working with a staff team who are very dedicated and a lot of fun.

Perks of the job: An environment that promotes creativity, I live locally, and I work with a great group of people - they're all mad, but very talented at what they do.
Interesting fact about me: I'm full of energy, passion, and a real love of life - on the rare occassion I'm quiet I'm usually in the middle of a rainforest, relaxing on a beach, or asleep!

Perks of the job: It's a great environment to work in, the staff here give their all for the young people. I couldn't ask for a better place to work, and the young men and women we deal with every day are an inspiration.
Interesting fact about me: I play netball and basketball, I'm a mad football fan, I love going out to live concerts, and I work on the crew of a sprint car!
